*Kim Kardashian is gearing up to produce and star in a docuseries about Elizabeth Taylor.

According to a press release, BBC Arts announced that Kardashian will executive produce the series, tentatively titled “Elizabeth Taylor: Rebel Superstar,” alongside Kari Lia and Hamish Fergusson.

“Elizabeth Taylor was unapologetically herself, a fighter,” Kardashian said of Taylor in a statement. “She is proof that you can keep evolving and changing and have different chapters in your life – and she paved the way for all of us who came after her with that blueprint.”

Per People, the series “will feature privileged access to those who knew her best, including members of Elizabeth Taylor’s family, friends, and colleagues from throughout her stellar career,” the announcement said.

Kardashian will star in the project because she was the last person to interview Taylor before she died at 79 in 2011.

According to People, the docuseries is in production and will feature “never-before-heard audio tapes, interviews, and unseen TV footage.”

BBC Arts said the series will give the late-great Taylor “the significance she richly deserves, in all her incarnations: as an actor, rebel, business mogul, and activist – to reveal how Taylor created the blueprint for modern celebrity.”

“A unique talent and true luminary, we’re hugely excited to explore her extraordinary life and enduring legacy,” said Fergusson.

“Elizabeth Taylor: Rebel Superstar” will air on BBC Two and BBC iPlayer.
