‘Cheer’ Star Jerry Harris Ordered to Pay $136,000 to Minor Victims

*Disgraced “Cheer” star Jerry Harris must pay restitution to his victims after being sentenced to 12 years in prison in 2022 for soliciting sex from minors. obtains documents revealing that the 24-year-old faces a restitution judgment of over $136k to be paid immediately to five victims. One of the minors will collect $124,348.76, while the other four will each receive $3k, per the order.

If Harris cannot pay the restitution in a lump sum now, 10% of his future earnings after his release will be deducted from each paycheck.

Harris must complete eight years of a court-supervised release after his release from prison.

We previously reported that Harris was arrested in 2020 on child pornography charges. The U.S. The Attorney’s Office released sexually explicit evidence at the time to support the case, including photos and screenshots of messages from Harris to his victims. 

Harris reportedly admitted to exchanging photos and videos with underage boys (upwards of 15 boys) and repeatedly soliciting them to connect in person.

Prosecutors said Harris had been “grooming” one victim since he was 13. Once the boy turned 15, Harris allegedly sexually assaulted him in an unlocked public restroom during a cheer event in 2019.

Harris was sentenced to 12 years in prison in July 2022 after pleading guilty to one count of receipt of child pornography and one count of traveling with the intent to engage in illicit sexual conduct.

According to RadarOnline, he must contribute $35k to the AVAA crime victims fund and $10k to the Justice for Victims of Trafficking Act. 

Harris is serving his sentence at Lexington FMC in Kentucky and is scheduled to be released in 2031.
