*LeBron James was at the center of controversy with Lakers president Jeanie Buss during Friday’s game against the Milwaukee Bucks.

The NBA star didn’t suit up for the game, but a video of him sitting courtside and speaking with Buss and Lakers executive director of special projects Linda Rambis caused quite a stir online.

In the video, James appears to say something exciting to both women, which prompts Buss to rest her head on his shoulder. Rambis also can’t keep her hands off the superstar athlete.

Social media buzzed over the weekend with speculation on James’ remarks and conjecture about his wife, Savannah James’ response to the video.

According to Clutch Pulse, in “leaked” audio, James appears to praise Buss and Rambis for being two powerful women in sports.

“First of all, happy…happy International Women’s Day….to both of you,” James allegedly says at the start of the video, according to lip-readers. Rambis and Buss appear to appreciate his positive remarks.

James then appears to say, “Y’all are two of the most powerful women in sports… Y’all deserve it.”

Meanwhile, when James and Savannah appeared at Galen Center on March 10 to watch Bronny James USC basketball game, many social media users noted that Mrs. James looked “distant” in photos that surfaced online, Sportskeeda reports (see the image below via X/Twitter).

Fans believe the Jeanie Buss video has caused a strain between the couple.

“Lebron in the dog house,” one X/Twitter user captioned a caption of LeBron and his wife at Bronny’s game, to which another person responded, “Bron paid for the dog house, I’m sure it’s nice.”

A third person added, “Bro risked his marriage for the FUNNIEST video of the season.”
