And the Drama Continues – D.L. Hughley Calls Mo’Nique A ‘LIAR’ After ‘Shay Shay’ Interview | WATCH

*Oh, the drama never ends in the world of comedians! D.L. Hughley just couldn’t resist coming for Mo’Nique and calling her a liar after her interview with Shannon Sharpe on “Club Shay Shay” went viral.

According to Hughley, Mo’Nique is a liar who can’t stop making videos, complaining about everything under the sun, or showing off her workout routine.

“Every time I see Mo’Nique these days, she’s doing some greasy ass video with her and her daddy complaining about something or working out,” D.L. said in a video on Instagram.

So, what got Mo all riled up? Well, it seems she got her feathers ruffled during a “Would You Rather” segment on Hughley’s syndicated radio show. The nerve of asking her questions about her husband and some openly gay director! Outrageous!

Naturally, Mo’Nique decided to give Hughley a piece of her mind and called him up to vent. But, surprise surprise, Hughley claims she twisted his words and accused him of being dismissive. Hughley wants us to believe that he actually listened to her complaints and even pulled the segment.

“Mo’Nique’s a liar. When Mo’Nique did call me, I heard her complaints. I listened to her, and I pulled the segment. So, if I had been as dismissive as she alleges I was, that segment would have aired. It didn’t because I respected her wishes. She’s a liar,” D.L. countered

Oh, but the drama doesn’t stop there. As Sandra Rose reports, Hughley also opened up about their contract dispute, which Mo’Nique used as an opportunity to accuse him of mishandling his daughter’s sexual assault complaint.

“This broad even brought out my daughter’s personal trauma,” Hughley complained. “My daughter was molested, and Monique bought that sh*t out and told the world that I allowed my daughter to be raped in front of me. The lying m-f-er.”

And let’s not forget the shade Mo’Nique threw at Tiffany Haddish. Remember when Tiffany mentioned Mo’Nique’s husband in an interview with GQ? Well, Mo’Nique wasn’t about to let that slide.

“And when I saw that, I said, ‘Tiffany, if you had a husband like mine, you may not have two DUIs. If you had a husband like mine, you may not be caught up in what looks like you could have been grooming a child.’”

Mo’Nique added: “And I say all of that with no judgment. But when you speak about having a husband like mine, you open up the door. And I’m saying to you, if you had one like mine, you may not sit in these positions that you can’t explain the next day.”

Meanwhile, Shannon Sharpe couldn’t resist throwing in his two cents, pointing out that Tiffany doesn’t even have a husband to begin with. Ouch.

Ah, the world of comedy sure knows how to bring out the snarky side of people. It’s just one big circus of egos and insults, and we can’t help but grab the popcorn and enjoy the show.
