*Wendy Williams has canceled her $25,000 speaking engagement at the Atlanta Women’s Expo due to ongoing health concerns.
The event was set to take place Saturday and Sunday, according to the US Sun.
“There is a video from Wendy that will be played Saturday, apologizing for the late cancellation,” a rep for the expo told the outlet in a statement, Page Six reports.
“Wendy’s ability to perform has been rocky at best. She can put together a sentence one day but not the next,” an insider told The Sun. “There have been serious questions recently about if she will ever get better.”

The event organizers and Williams’ rep confirmed Friday that she will not be attending the Atlanta Women’s Expo. An Instagram post from April 6 showed that the former TV talk show host was scheduled to speak on Saturday at 1 p.m.
“We regretfully have to inform you that Wendy Williams would not be appearing at The Ultimate Women’s Expo in Atlanta on May 20th, 2023. It was with great consideration that we felt it was best for Wendy to join the Ultimate Women’s Expo at a later date,” per the statement.
“We look forward to releasing those details when they are confirmed. We are grateful to the Grammy award-winning R&B artist, Monica, for being a great addition as the Keynote speaker in Wendy’s absence. Can’t wait to see you soon!”
We reported previously that Williams was spotted filming a new project at Fresco by Scotto in NYC back in February. That same month she made a rare public appearance at New York Fashion Week, leaving many fans concerned about her overall well-being.
Williams continues to struggle with health issues following her rehab stint last year, and she allegedly has little support after friends abandoned her, according to Ace Showbiz.
