*Transgender influencer Jay Boogie is pleading for financial help after suffering a health crisis following cosmetic surgery.
The Nigerian social media star (born Daniel Anthony Nsikan) suffered sepsis and acute kidney injury after undergoing a Brazilan Butt Lift and 360 Lipo procedures on Oct. 30. Boogie is desperately in need of financial assistance for post-op treatments.
“Please help me have a second chance in life! If not for [me], then for my four siblings, for whom I’m the breadwinner and sole provider,” Jay Boogie wrote on Instagram to his 234k followers.
Boogie’s surgeries were performed at CGE Healthcare in Lagos, Nigeria, where Dr. Chidinma Akpa is allegedly the owner, according to MadameNoire. Boogie shared photos and online footage documenting his quest for ultimate feminine beauty MadameNoire reports.
“I don’t even know me anymore and I’ve been through struggles battling with acute kidney injury and more I have had a plasmapheresis yet I’m still unstable,” Boogie wrote in a Nov. 17 post, adding, “the test results state my health is deteriorating 😢 I honestly need sincere and genuine help.”

Boogie accused CGE Healthcare of lying in a Nov. 18 Instagram post that the beauty influencer “made good progress with his kidney recovery.”
According to MadameNpire, CGE Healthcare noted in a separate posting that there was no “indication of need for a kidney transplant.”

Jay Boogie claims the medical center refuses to take responsibility for causing injuries related to having elective body-altering surgical procedures.
As reported previously on EUR, patients seeking to enhance their derriere turn to Brazilian butt lift surgery, which is a procedure that harvests excess fat from other areas of the body through liposuction and transfers it to the buttocks.
“Fat cells are removed via liposuction from the abdomen, hips, thighs, or lower back,” George Bitar, MD, a board-certified plastic surgeon in Washington, DC, tells SELF. “The extracted fat is then purified and strategically injected into specific parts of the derriere to help patients achieve their desired size and shape.”

Alex Earle, MD, a board-certified plastic surgeon in Miami and president of the World Association of Gluteal Surgeons, said: “Contouring the body in this way makes a BBL a very impactful procedure that can transform someone’s shape in ways that simply aren’t possible with butt exercises alone.”
BBLs have become a billion-dollar industry, but they have also been labeled the most dangerous cosmetic procedure due to the wave of recent reports of patient deaths related to the surgery.
