*On today’s Social Heat we kick off with the story of the bronze sculpture commemorating Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s birthday in Boston. However, a lot of folks are NOT feeling it. And that’s putting it mildly. The $10 million sculpture, titled “The Embrace,” was unveiled at a public ceremony in the Boston Commons on Friday, Jan. 13. The crowd cheered and applauded — until the sculpture was fully unveiled. Then the applause faded, as many in the crowd wondered aloud “What is it?”
After being found guilty of shooting Megan Thee Stallion, Tory Lanez has now reportedly hired another defense attorney. We recently shared that Lanez had dropped his attorney from the first case after he was found guilty in the shooting and brought in powerhouse Death Row attorney David Kenner. Lanez has now reportedly brought on Jose Baez, the defense attorney who famously got Casey Anthony off the hook in her child murder case.
Stephanie Sibounheuang, the girlfriend of PnB Rock, told her truth via an emotional Instagram Live yesterday (01-14-23) about life after the late rapper’s death. She revealed that the “Rock” did not have a will or life insurance and that she and her daughter do not have savings or a financial plan for the future. “We’re so young, we didn’t plan on death,” she told viewers.
Finally, in another case of the world going to hell, a man from Texas casually treated himself to a beer he stole from the store where his wife worked, just hours after DECAPITATING her body. According to FOX Houston, 21-year-old Jared Discus had been married to Anggy Diaz for less than four months before the gruesome murder occurred on Tuesday.
