‘Tennessee Three’ Member Justin Pearson Mocked for ‘Fake Preachy’ Accent | Video

*”Tennessee 3″ member Justin Pearson is being called a fake and a fraud on social media after old clips surfaced showing he has completely transformed his style and the way he speaks in recent years.

On Monday’s episode of her SiriusXM radio show, The Megyn Kelly Show, Kelly slammed his “preachy” voice after a newly surfaced 2016 video of the Bowdoin College alumni shows he does not sound like a knockoff of Martin Luther King Jr. — as he does now, according to his critics. 

“Can you believe?” the political pundit asked guests Emily Jashinsky and Eliana Johnson as she laughed at the clip of Pearson, RadarOnline reports.

“He’s a faker. He’s a Faker!” she added.

“This is what our society does society does to young men,” Kelly continued. “He sounded like Obama in the original video, and now he sounds like Jeremiah Wright.”

We reported previously, citing CNN, that the Shelby County Board of Commissioners on Wednesday voted to confirm the reappointment of Pearson to the Tennessee House of Representatives, sending him back to fill the House District 86 seat as an interim representative.

The vote to return Pearson to his seat — vacated last Thursday when the GOP-dominated chamber expelled the state representative after he and two other Democrats (Justin Jones, 27, and Gloria Johnson, 60,) called for gun reform on the chamber floor — came after the board voted to suspend a rule that would have required a waiting period between his nomination and confirmation.

The vote to appoint Pearson passed 7-0.

“You put on a costume, you act, instead of actually doing something of similar substance,” Jashinsky told Kelly on her SiriusXM radio show. “This is stupid. This is substance-less.”

Jashinsky noted that when individuals have “nothing real of substance to cling to, you create nonsense and act like you’re a part of something more important.”

“He’s a faker, he’s a poser, he’s the male Hilaria Baldwin,” Kelly agreed.
