*A lawsuit filed by Soulja Boy’s ex-girlfriend accuses him of violently assaulting her during a 2019 house party.
Soulja will take the stand at the civil trial next week where the rapper and his ex-Kayla Meyers will face off as part of that lawsuit which she filed in 2020. According to court documents obtained by RadarOnline.com, Meyers said she was assaulted by the artist on February 1, 2019, at a party in Malibu.
Meyers said she got into a fight with Soulja’s female assistant and while knocked on the ground, Soulja kicked her in the stomach. He also beat her head with a large gun, the woman claims.
According to her lawsuit, a male assistant tied Meyers to a chair in his garage using extension cords, and she was held hostage for 6 hours. Meyers claims the male assistant said he would release her if she performed a sexual act on him. In the court docs, the alleged victim states she had no choice but to comply. Once released, she ran home, Radar reports.

During the alleged attack, she fractured three ribs and bruised her face, according to the woman’s attorneys.
Meyers notified the police of the incident, which lead to a raid of Soulja’s home. Police reportedly found multiple weapons, which violated his probation in a separate case. For that, he was reportedly sentenced to 240 days in jail. The hip-hop star was never charged over the alleged assault, according to Radar.
Soulja wants his ex’s lawsuit thrown out.
Radar reports that Soulja plans to call his bodyguard and assistant as witnesses next week. He has denied all of Meyers’ allegations and claims he is not the cause of any of her injuries.
As Radar reports, Soulja said in his response to her lawsuit, “negligent acts of [Kayla] and/or one or more third parties, other than this answering Defendant, was responsible for and proximately contributed to the damages alleged to have been sustained by [Kayla].”
