*Back in 2020, two Sacramento cops were disciplined for calling a group of Black boys a “pack of animals,” but the city’s police department only disclosed the incident this month.

As reported by The Root, Officers Connor Lawrence and Brandon Lundgreen are still in the force (and possibly terrorizing Black people). According to the outlet, the pair encountered a group of Black kids one evening in October 2020 after responding to a complaint about a group of kids loitering at a movie complex.  In the body-cam audio, the cops referred to the kids as “so ghetto” and “retarded.”

“Should I just go out there and grab somebody and f———, ka-ka-ka,” Lawrence is heard saying to his partner.

The two officers then discussed yanking and throwing the group of kids into the patrol car as a means of detaining them.

Lundgreen also referred to one 14-year-old as the “first victim,” before launching into a rant.

Here’s more from The Sacramento Bee:

“There is two hundred of you roaming around, being a pack of animals,” Lundgren can be heard saying on a body camera, according to the disciplinary letter. “It’s like a pack of wolves out there destroying the community … you are not going to get away… I could tase you, I could bola wrap you, I could shoot you with a bean bag round. I could deploy a dog on you. I mean is this really how you are going to grow up and live your life, just f—- the police? … Live a great life and show some respect. Because right now, you are the problem with our society. You are the problem with our country.”

Lawrence and Lundgreen ultimately underwent a three-day “resilience, compassion and leadership” training for law enforcement as well as an outreach engagement, according to The Root.
