*We caught up with “Real Housewives of Potomac” star Ashley Darby to dish on Season 7 drama and some of the misconceptions about her personal life amid her ongoing divorce from estranged husband Michael Darby.
In the “Real Housewives of Potomac” Season 7 reunion trailer, Darby reveals she won’t be receiving alimony payments from Michael, revealing things “really just did not work out in my favor,” she says, Page Six reports.
“You can’t get alimony?” co-star Gizelle Bryant asks, with Dr. Wendy Osefo adding “Why did you sign that?”

Darby and her ex called it quits last year after eight years of marriage. The exes share two sons. They officially called it quits ahead of the RHOP season 7 premiere with Ashley announcing they had split after “almost 8 magical years” of marriage.
“We have decided to separate. We are aware that there will be many speculative views as to why we have made this decision,” she said in a statement in April 2022. “People will be quick to assume that the causes were too much intrusion by reality TV into the most personal parts of our lives, age gap issues, cultural problems, or child-rearing differences. Pieces of all these may have affected our pure love for each other, but no one reason is the root cause of our mutual decision to go our separate ways.”
