Everyone’s favorite dating show is back!
Netflix’s “Love Is Blind” returns for season four with new singles hoping to find love.
After season one, viewers fell in love with the first successful couple from the show – Cameron Hamilton and Lauren Speed-Hamilton were the unlikely matches that allowed the concept of the show to do what it was intended to do…encourage people to fall in love outside of physical attraction.
People want that fairy tale type of love story and it seems possible with “Love Is Blind.” During the show the singles date pods. The pods are separate rooms with only a thin wall dividing them. The singles are able to ask all the questions you are less likely to ask being face to face with someone, which takes the pressure away.
We spoke with some of the cast about how quickly you can become comfortable with someone in the pods.
“After the first days, you really start to get in a groove, and you start to open up. As crazy as it is you kind of forget about the camera,” said Micah, one of the new singles.
Outside of dating nerves, there is also the fact these singles are on TV for the world to view and judge them.
“I was so nervous. I think it was because you’re thinking about, ‘oh I have to be on.’ And then afterward you’re like, ‘no, I have to be real,’” said Tiffany, another new single.
These ladies didn’t let the cameras get in the way of them being themselves. It was important to focus more on the reason they were there…To find love!
