*Shereé Whitfield claims her former RHOA co-star Kim Zolciak is not doing well amid her divorce from Kroy Biermann.
“I am in touch with her, and I was shocked,” Whitfield told Andy Cohen on Sunday’s episode of “Watch What Happens Live,” PEOPLE reports. “I thought her and Kroy [were] gonna be forever. I’m really sad for them.”
Whitfield added, “I’ve been in contact with her, and she’s not doing well. She’s not doing well. No, she’s taking it really bad.”
We reported previously that Zolciak filed for divorce from the retired linebacker in May. The two tied the knot in 2011 and separated in late April. In her divorce petition, the reality TV syat reportedly said the marriage is “irretrievably broken with no hope of reconciliation.”
Since calling it quits, their contentious divorce proceedings have garnered media attention. In Zolciak and Biermann’s dueling divorce petitions, both are seeking primary custody of their 4 minor kids plus child and spousal support.
Meanwhile, RadarOnline.com obtained two police reports exposing the estranged couple’s seemingly violent domestic life. In one report, the former Atlanta Falcons athlete admitted he continues to live in the family home because he can’t afford to live elsewhere. According to Radar, police have been called several times to resolve physical disputes between the ex-couple.
In court docs obtained by Us, Biermann requested that his ex undergo a psychological evaluation, alleging that she “presented very troubling behavior which has accelerated in the months leading up to [his] filing for divorce.”
Zolciak and Biermann share 9-year-old twins Kaia Rose and Kane Ren, 10-year-old son Kash Kade and 11-year-old son Kroy Jagger, per People.
A source told Us that the “financial burdens have been a strain on their relationship,” adding that “the tax debt was the straw that broke the camel’s back in their marriage.”
