*Hey y’all, we’re here with some Social Heat for ya. Amid Jamie Foxx’s continuing medical emergency (allegedly a stroke), the actor is out as host of the popular “Beat Shazam” game show on FOX, which went into production days after he fell ill. TMZ says that Foxx’s daughter, Corrine, who DJs on the show, will be also replaced by another DJ as she (Corinne) has been by her father’s side at the hospital in Atlanta. Sources say Foxx’s condition is “concerning” since he was hospitalized with slurred speech and weakness on one side.TMZ has spoken with sources close to Foxx who urge his fans to “Pray for Jamie.”

Earlier, we mentioned that Da Brat and her wife Jesseca were disappointed at the lack of Black sperm donors to choose from. Specifically, the couple went through thousands of candidates and eventually narrowed the search down to 300 which only included one Black donor. “And that [dude] looked like Jiminy Cricket — I was like, “I’m sorry but that wasn’t gonna be my choice,” said Da Brat. Now we know the couple ultimately went with a white donor. “I think we did a great job with picking. He’s handsome, he’s tall and I think he’s going to look beautiful with my wife’s egg,” Brat said.

Unfortunately, we have sad news regarding track star Tori Bowie. She passed away at only 32 years of age, Bowie was found dead in Florida, but the cause of death remains unknown, according to TMZ. Her management released a statement early Wednesday morning stating, “We’ve lost a client, dear friend, daughter, and sister,” the sports agency said. “Tori was a champion…a beacon of light that shined so bright! We’re truly heartbroken and our prayers are with the family and friends.”

Here’s some shocking news. One of the attorneys repping a defendant charged in the YSL Rico case claims the state is not doing enough to protect folks who are too poor to pay for their own defense. In other words, the state of Georgia is paying chump change to represent the defendant and that ain’t hardly enough. “This case is slated to last for about a year, and if you were to do the math, it would be six dollars an hour,” defense Attorney Angela D’Williams said. “I can’t take any new cases. I can’t close any cases. I need something to survive off of.” D’Williams then goes on to call out the Georgia Public Defender Council, which is the state agency that appointed her to represent one of the defendants in the YSL trial. “We were under the impression that GPDC was advocating for us, and once they put those walls up, I’m thinking I need to start an OnlyFans,” D’Williams said.
