*Elon Musk is facing a lawsuit filed by singer Grimes who shares three children with the tech mogul.Â
Grimes, whose legal name is Claire Boucher, filed a “petition to establish a parental relationship” after she accused Musk of keeping her son from her in a since-deleted post, Insider reports. She wants a California court to establish who the legal parents of a child are when they are unmarried. Details of the petition are unknown and Musk has yet to file a response.Â
Grimes has not filed a request for custody or child support, according to the court records. In September, she hit up X (formally Twitter) to send a tweet aimed at Musk begging him to allow her to see their firstborn son named Æ A-12 — also known as baby X. Â
She also asked Musk’s other baby mama, Shivon Zillis, who shares twins with the Tesla CEO, to tell Elon to let her see their child. When Musk’s biographer, Walter Isaacson, published on X a photo of Zilis and Musk with their two children, Grimes responded directly in the since-deleted post.
“Tell Shivon to unblock me and tell Elon to let me see my son or plz respond to my lawyer,” Grimes said. “I have never even been allowed to see a photo of these children until this moment, despite the situation utterly ripping my family apart.”
According to Insider, Isaacson said in his biography that Musk didn’t inform Grimes about his decision to have children with Zilis. The musician learned of Zilis’ pregnancy at the same time as the public, and was “outraged” about it, according to Isaacson’s book.
“Communication about the twins wasn’t handled super well in the past, but I now totally understand what happened and totally forgive the situation,” Grimes wrote on X on September 10, Insider reported. Grimes also gushed about their kids growing up together.Â
Musk reportedly has ten other children.Â
