*Gabrielle Union and her daughter Kaavia, 4, have a daily affirmations routine that they shared on social media.
Union’s latest Instagram video is captioned, “It starts at home,” and shows her and Kaavia reciting positive affirmations while looking in a mirror. Union shares Kaavia with her NBA icon husband Dwayne Wade.
“Tell me what you love about your hair,” Union said. Kaavia responds, “I love my beautiful hair.”
“I am brave,” Union said. “I am strong,” Kaavia responds. As The Blast reports, the additional affirmations are, “I am worthy,” “I am silly,” “I love my village,” “I love my beautiful skin,” and “I’m so beautiful.”

Several of Union’s celebrity pals commented on the clip, with actress Megan Good writing, “Why did you do this to me Gab .. over here trying not to cry. So beautiful. You are a phenomenal Mommy and woman. K I’m done”.
One fan said of Kaavia, “This baby is growing up wonderfully.”
A third person added, “Idc what ANYONE has to say about their parenting style.. The proof is in the pudding. Seeing emotionally healthy black kids growing up and parents supporting them is amazing and refreshing. No matter what people may feel about Gab they can never say she’s not speaking life into her kids.”
