G-League Player Chance Comanche Confesses to ‘Kinky Sex’ Killing in Las Vegas

*Former NBA G League player Chance Comanche allegedly confessed to killing a woman in Las Vegas earlier this month.

Comanche, 27, reportedly told investigators that he used an HDMI cord to strangle Marayna Rodgers, 23, on Dec. 6 after luring her to have “kinky sex” with him and his ex-girlfriend, 19-year-old Sakari Harnden, New York Post reports. Rodgers traveled from her home state, Washington, to Vegas with a friend “to engage in prostitution,” according to the Las Vegas police report.

Harnden and Rodgers both worked as prostitutes in the Vegas area. When they linked up in Sin City days before the killing, drama allegedly ensued between the women. They reportedly argued over a Rolex, and things got especially heated after Harnden implicated Rodgers’ boyfriend in a double murder in California, for which he was arrested, the Post reports.

Harnden allegedly enlisted Comanche to help kill Rodgers after the pair failed to hire a hitman for $3,000. The ex-couple reportedly discussed various methods, including poisoning, strangulation, and gunplay. They ultimately decided on death by strangling.

Rodgers was lured to her death by Comanche and Harnden, who explained that a “trick” wanted to pay her for “kinky sex.” As it turned out, that “trick” was Comanche. Harnden allegedly told the victim that he wanted to tie up both women before having sex and would “pay them for their services.”

Here’s more from the New York Post:

“(Rodgers) agreed and began removing her clothes. (Harnden) removed her clothing and climbed over the center console and straddled (Rodgers’) lap,” the police records read, before adding Comanche had grabbed a bag of plastic zip-ties that were already in the car and handed two to Sakari.

Rodgers willingly had her wrists tied together before Comanche wrapped a cord around her neck while Harnden, still straddling Rodgers, placed her hands on the defenseless woman’s neck. Comanche told police he used an HDMI cord to choke Rodgers for “10 seconds” and stopped when he heard his victim struggling to breathe, but Harnden continued.

After the killing, Comanche and Harnden dumped the woman’s body in a ditch in Henderson, Nevada. Investigators found her remains earlier this month.

Comanche was in Sacramento, California, last week when he was taken into custody and charged with first-degree kidnapping.

Harnden was arrested on Dec. 14 and charged with felony first-degree kidnapping and felony theft for allegedly stealing a Rolex, according to reports.
