*R&B singer Donell Jones is lucky to be alive after falling asleep behind the wheel while driving and crashing into a ditch.
Jones shared an Instagram post on Tuesday (Jan. 10) revealing that he had crashed his Mercedes-Benz but walked unscathed, Hip Hop DX reports.
“I fell asleep while driving yesterday and ended up in a ditch,” he wrote in his caption. “I walk away with no injuries but I learned a valuable lesson, That if you’re tired just park the car cause this could’ve been bad.”
Jones added: “I know that I am truly protected but I needed this experience…. Thank you God for wrapping your arms around me as you have always done… My love and loyalty is to you.”

Jones called the experience a “valuable lesson.”
Several of Jones’ celebrity pals commented under his IG post (see above), with Da Brat writing, “Dam yo. Im glad you’re ok.”
Tweet from the R&B group Next wrote, “Your karma and good energy will always protect you my brother. Blessings always”.
Singer Melba Moore added, “Donell please be safe and don’t drive when tired,” and another commenter said, “Omg D. Yes please park the car get a uber To God be the Glory.”
“I’m glad you’re ok!!!??,” wrote Coko of SWV, with Fat Joe adding, “My brother hope you ok ??”
