*Season two of the hit STARZ crime drama “BMF” returns this week on January 6.

“BMF” follows the true story of two brothers from Detroit, Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory (Demetrius Flenory, Jr.)  and Terry “Southwest T” Flenory (Da’Vinchi), and their climb to become one of the most influential crime families in America over the last 40 years. Determined to beat the odds and achieve their American Dream, the brothers strategically execute a new vision. But new beginnings also mean new challenges and sometimes old enemies.

EURweb correspondent Jill Munroe spoke exclusively with Flenory Jr. and Myles Truitt, who portrays “B-Mickie,” one of Meech’s loyal soldiers who moves up in the ranks in season two.

In season two, Meech wants to make sure his Detroit home is in order and expand the operation outside the state. But, with so much new business, plus lingering issues from old beefs and alliances, Flenory Jr. said none of the characters can ever really trust each other, especially Meech and B-Mickie.

The actor is the real-life son of the character he is portraying in the series. He explained, “It’s sad to say that we can’t trust each other because we are all family, but when things happen, and people show you that they will do something once that’s not loyal, they will do it again. So you have to have your eye open at all times.”

In season two, Meech and B-Mickie’s relationship is on “eggshells,” according to Flenory. “He doesn’t know if B-Mickie is telling him the truth. Or has he been lying to him, brushing him off. He hasn’t been answering calls; he hasn’t been pushing up on us. He’s just been MIA. I feel like he has to prove himself this season.”

Truitt said his character is also going through a lot this season. His mother’s health is declining, he lost his girlfriend Kato in season one, plus Detective Bryant is trying to get him caught up. He told us that viewers will see a spiritual side of B-Mickie this season.

“You might see him talking to himself while sitting on the couch cleaning his gun. It’s just him finding his self-worth, realizing who he is, and then how he will keep up. He has to ensure that Meech doesn’t know anything but somehow make sure Detective Bryant doesn’t take him down.”

Tune in to “BMF” on Friday, Jan, 6 at 8:00 PM ET/PT on STARZ.
