*Cardi B is catching heat from her online critics after twerking on a “Rugrats” statue at her daughter Kulture’s 5th birthday party.
As People reports, Cardi B and her husband Offset hosted a Super Mario-themed birthday celebration for their daughter and shared images from the event on Instagram Story.
The party was held at the Nickelodeon Universe inside the American Dream Mall in New Jersey on Monday. At one point, the “Wap” rapper made time to twerk on a statue of Nickelodeon’s “Rugrats” character Grandpa Lou Pickles. The footage has sparked outrage on social media, with many accusing Cardi of sexualizing a kids’ party.
On Instagram, Hip-Hop DX shared the twerking video, and the comments section is flooded with criticism over how young female rappers conduct themselves publicly. One person wrote, “It sickens me they are making kids things sexual, every single day. It’s the agenda I guess”
Another said, “We continue to race to the bottom everyday. I thought the goal was to be rich so you so you don’t have to do stuff like this for attention.”

Cardi shared photos and videos from the family’s trip to Nickelodeon Universe and captioned the post: “My baby is five????….Happy birthday to my pretty princess. It’s beautiful seeing my girl grow yet makes me a lil sad that my baby is not my little baby no more,” the mom of two wrote on Instagram.
Offset also shared a birthday tribute to Kulture.
“Happy birthday @kulturekiari your such a great daughter you make me smile every time I lay eyes on you,” the rapper wrote, People reports.
“I can’t believe you are 5 years old already I remember holding you when you were first born in my arms….daddy’s girl I love you so much,” he added.
