*“GMA3” co-anchors T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach will have more time to spend together now that ABC has decided the couple will remain off the air until an internal review into their controversial affair is completed.
ABC News president Kim Goodwin reportedly sent an update about the matter to staffers via an email, CNN reports. Holmes and Robach were yanked off the air last week amid reports about their romance. Goodwin confirmed on Monday that they will stay off the air while the internal investigation is ongoing.
“I want to take a moment to address the on-going matter involving GMA3 anchors T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach,” the memo reads, Complex reports. “I understand that the continuing coverage can be distracting from the incredibly important work our team does here at ABC News. Amy and T.J. will remain off-air pending the completion of an internal review, and there will be a rotation of anchors at GMA3 for the time being. It is my hope that we will continue to focus our energy on what we do best, and I want all of you to know how immensely proud I am of your hard work and professionalism.”
According to reports, Robach and Holmes did not begin their passionate romance until after their longtime partners were no longer a factor. Robach is married to actor Andrew Shue and Holmes’ wife is attorney Marilee Fiebig. Roback and Holmes have been married to their spouses for 12 years and are said to be separated from them.

Insiders are speaking out about how Holmes is a serial cheater who has allegedly made his way through multiple female colleagues at ABC.
When Roback and Holmes returned to ABC studios as news broke about their romantic relationship, a source said they acted like everything was “normal.”
“Amy and T.J. have been arriving to work pretending like everything is normal, they have been carrying on like they would any other day,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly. “The GMA staff, for the most part, all knew that something was happening between Amy and T.J., they were always playful with each other, like two people who were dating. Amy and T.J. didn’t seem like they were trying to keep their relationship secret anymore, everyone around the office could tell there was a spark between them for many months.”
Meanwhile, DeMarco Morgan has been tapped to fill in for Holmes alongside Stephanie Ramos and Gio Benitez stepping in to fill the hour on “Good Morning America.”
