Hitmaker Jermaine Dupri sat down with the hosts of Atlanta’s The Goats And Underdogs podcast to say with his entire chest that he created the concept of “106 & Park” to feature his artist Bow Wow. “106 & Park was created by me,” Dupri said. “I created the show for Bow Wow. I was watching MTV, and they had TRL. They catered to N-Sync, The Backstreet Boys, and anything white that was coming out. They were allowing the kids to scream and holler at them.” He continues and says that he pitched it to BET former head of programming Stephen Hill who brushed off Dupri, as he recalls.
