*If you’re a big fan of R&B supergroup Silk Sonic (Buno Mars and Anderson .Paak), we know you definitely got your groove (and thrill) on Sunday evening/night (Nov. 21).
Yessir buddy, Bruno and Anderson (plus their backup singers/band) did their thing and did not disappoint as they kicked off the 2021 AMAs with a smokin’ hot rendition of their new single “Smokin’ Out The Window.”
Sportin’ red suits, Silk Sonic transformed Microsoft Theater into their funky personal background, as they not only delivered velvety smooth vocals but shifty footwork, as well. The smoothed-out duo made sure to give their performance a little extra oomph every time they uttered the song’s now-popular catch-phrase “This b*tch!” during each of their verses. Nope, they didn’t hold back.
It’s more than obvious at this point they can sing a song just as well, if not better, during their live performances, than they can on their videos. They are truly next level.

Last week, according to Billboard, Silk Sonic released their debut album, An Evening With Silk Sonic, and the project conquered some impressive feats. “Smokin’ Out the Window” became the group’s second No. 1 on the Hot R&B Songs chart, with an incredible 21 million streams during its premiere week (ending Nov. 11), according to MRC Data. The song also debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 8 this week.
Oh yeah, the duo also won Favorite R&B song for “Leave the Door Open.”
