Lewis says that well over a year ago he blew the whistle on financial foul play at Pierce Bainbridge, the law firm Rudy Giuliani hired for the Ukraine fiasco, and was viciously retaliated against. As it turns out, a former firm partner recently said: “No question [Lewis] called this 100% correctly.”
Lewis says, “Even though I was spot on, certain of my former partners continue to lie to discredit me in an attempt to avoid liability.”
Pierce Bainbridge has been decimated; the firm faces a $70,00,000 debt and speculation continues to build that the firm’s operations may be the subject of a criminal investigation.
On the issue of money, Pierce Bainbridge reportedly racked up a whopping $65,000,000 debt to litigation funder/lender Virage Capital Management in approximately one year. Lewis says he has strong reason to believe Virage Capital may also be paying Pierce Bainbridge’s legal bills for his cases.
Pierce Bainbridge founder John Pierce has said in writing: “Clients pick PB because our DNA is precisely the same;” Lewis observes: “that statement is enlightening given the three convicted felons that Pierce Bainbridge has represented, and also because the recent European based lies to discredit, harass and intimidate, fit the Rudy Giuliani playbook.”
Lewis concluded: “It’s disappointing to see people rely on falsehoods, smear tactics and revisionist history to cover up for their own personal and professional inadequacies. While in the household where I was raised, accountability was always key; it appears, some people prefer to hire lawyers on other continents to lie for them, rather than face the truth about who they really are, and stand accountable for their own behavior. It’s unfortunate.”
The former partner says he will continue to fight for justice.
