Spike Lee on MSG Incident: ‘I’m Being Harassed by James Dolan and I Don’t Know Why’ (Watch)

*Spike Lee was on fire when he visited ESPN’s “First Take” this morning to tell his side of the incident that took place Monday night at Madison Square Garden.

Video of his argument with security led to speculation that he wasn’t allowed access to his floor seats for the Knicks-Rockets game. After the video went viral, MSG put out a statement last night saying that the Knicks Superman was not thrown out of the facility. The argument, they said, was over Lee using the wrong entrance.

Upon hearing MSG’s statement, Lee went directly to Stephen A Smith and company at “First Take” to tell the world that the Garden press release is “spin,” and he’s been using the same arena entrance for the past 28 years.  If the Garden had a new entrance for folks with floor seats, Lee said someone should’ve called him as a season ticket holder to let him know where to enter.

Spike believes that Knicks owner James Dolan just didn’t want him in the building. “I’m being harassed by James Dolan and I don’t know why,” he said.
