*Another celeb has tested positive for the coronavirus. On Tuesday, former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Shereé Whitfield made it known that she has tested positive for COVID-19.
“I know I have been MIA,” Whitfield, 50, said on Instagram. “I’ve really just been at home, self-quarantining, for the past week and a half. I just want you guys to know that it is no joke. I’m feeling much better today.”
The reality star said she plans to share more of what her symptoms were, but added that she has just been “out of it.”
“Oh no!!!! Wishing u a speedy recovery❤️” was the response from her former “RHOA” co-star, Cynthia Bailey.
“Real Housewives of Potomac” star Gizelle Bryant added, “Glad you’re feeling better!”

On July 3, Whitfield shared that she was getting an immunity IV drip to help boost her immune system. It appears she was either not aware of her diagnosis or had not contracted coronavirus at the time.
“It’s loaded with tons of B vitamins, C, magnesium, antioxidants and, of course, anti-aging products,” the reality star told her followers.
At the time, her friend and former “RHOA” star Lisa Wu, added, “And this is going to help against COVID, like, protect against COVID.”
Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case.
