*A TikTok video has surfaced showing a white teen trying in vain to challenge the racism of her parents.
The girl, Hayley C. Clark, keeps the camera on herself as she tries to match her parents’ racist opinion with facts. First, she pushes back against her father’s notion that black people are “sucking off the system.” The girl yells back, “They have not been given the same opportunities that you have had!” Later, she rejects her father’s labeling of black people as “filthy animals,” telling her father repeatedly that what he said “was not okay.”
Then her mother chimes in with her so-called “statistics” to back her contention that black people protesting police brutality are overreacting. Her daughter laughs derisively at her receipts, saying “Statistics can be warped. Do you want me to show you videos?”
