*R. Kelly’s girlfriend Joycelyn Savage was confronted by her family outside a courthouse in Chicago on Thursday.
The moment went down after Savage had a hearing related to her battery case with Kelly’s ex girlfriend Azriel Clary.
We previously reported, days after the two young women got into a fight that was captured on Instagram Live, 24-year-old Savage was charged with one misdemeanor count of domestic battery.
The brawl went down on Kelly’s 53rd birthday, and was caught on Clary’s IG Live broadcast. The footage shows Savage calling Clary “evil” and accusing her of disrespecting Kelly’s house. Clary insists she is simply protecting herself, and it’s not long before the two come to blows. The camera falls to the floor as the scuffle ensues but you can hear others attempt to de-escalate the situation.
Clary can also heard accusing Savage of sleeping with her when she was still a minor.

At the hearing Thursday morning, Savage pled not guilty to battery for allegedly attacking and injuring Clary — her former lover (allegedly) and roommate.
Outside the courthouse, Savage was flanked by a couple of girls who TMZ claim are her younger sisters. Her mother also ran up and begged to talk to her.
According to the report, mother gets shut down as Joycelyn hurries hops in a car with a woman believed to be her lawyer.
One of the sisters urges Joycelyn to “look at the documentary,” and adds … “He’s been lying!” This seems to be a reference to the latest Lifetime docuseries on R. Kelly.
Joycelyn has been estranged from her parents for years, ever since moving in with the R&B hitmaker. Azriel also dissed her parents for Kelly, but recently reunited with her family after severing ties with the embattled singer and Savage and moving out of his Chicago condo.
Following the brawl with Clary, Savage reportedly fled the scene but later surrendered herself over to the custody of the police. She was charged with assault on Jan. 8, and Clary confirmed the news via Twitter.
“Joycelyn is sadly in jail for assault, I thank everyone for sending me lots of love and prayers,” she wrote. “You all will know everything sooner than later.”

Clary later posted a second tweet calling for prayers for Savage.
“I woke up today happy but torn, I didn’t come to Chicago for Robert… only for Joy, whom he purposely separated us because he knew I’d try to make her go home,” she wrote. “Please pray for Joy, this is just tough love so she can come to her own realization at her own timing.”
Clary previously hinted on Twitter that she may spill the tea about R. Kelly and his alleged sex crimes.
