*Video of a Nigerian mother offering prayers on the pen of her daughter who begins her WAEC (West African Examinations Council) examinations today (Aug. 17) has gone viral.
The mom speaks in Yoruba as she blesses the pen that her daughter will use during the examination.
The video has been met with mixed reactions. While some Nigerians appreciated the effort of the mother’s request for divine intervention, others said the mother should have focused on her daughter studying enough to pass the exam and not depending on prayers.
