*Slick Woods has given fans an update regarding her battle with stage 3 melanoma.
The model said she’s feeling “a million times better” after recently suffering an unexpected seizure.
“Now that I’m feeling a million times better and walking again thanks @cheyalli for saving my life during an unexpected seizure in the middle of the night, man there’s so many people going through way worse #staygoofy,” she wrote in an Instagram post to her 900k followers.
Meanwhile, the photographer who saved her called the experience “one of the biggest scares” of her life.
“I’m not really one to put too much business out there, but this girl gave me one of the biggest scares of my life the other night and I can’t thank god enough that she is okay. Strongest person I know,” Chey Allegra wrote on Instagram. “I love you @slickwoods.”
Woods also noted on her Instagram Story that she’s “just blessed to be able to flex another day.”

We previously reported, the runway star — real name is Simone Thompson — confirmed with The Shade Room in November that she’s battling stage 3 melanoma, also known as skin cancer — and the disease is spreading. She says she’s currently fighting for her life.
“How I feel about chemotherapy, shout out to everyone that gotta go through it #atleastimalreadybald,” Woods, 23, wrote at the time as the caption of a photo of herself with boyfriend Micky Munday and friends.
In a second IG post, she made clear that she doesn’t want folks to pity her, saying, “Stop treating me like a victim.”
Woods, who has modeled for Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty, Marc Jacobs and Jeremy Scott, gave birth to a baby boy named Sapphir in 2018.
“Thankful for a beautiful prince and a great father to protect, teach and love him unconditionally,” she said of the baby’s father, model Adonis Bosso. “When I’m working, traveling, sick or just tired he’s there.”
