*Boosie Badazz has revealed that he turned down a meeting with JAY-Z to address his comments regarding Dwyane Wade’s transgender daughter Zaya.
During an appearance on The Breakfast Club via webcam, Boosie claimed Zaya is “f*cking up my money,” and explained why he refused to apologize for what critics called a transphobic rant against the 12-year-old.
When host Charlamagne asked whether he wants to apologize for the controversial comments, the rapper replied, “Nah… They already tried to do that. They were trying to hook up some sh*t with a meeting with JAY-Z.” He added, “They say JAY-Z was gonna get him on the phone and all that sh*t, I need to apologize to save this, and save that. … Hey, tell JAY-Z I don’t wanna talk. I’m not apologizing for sh*t. I don’t give a f*ck if Jesus calling to get me to apologize. I said what I said, man. I felt that was right.”

Shortly after Wade appeared on Ellen to talk about Zaya coming out as transgender, Boosie begged the NBA star in an Instagram video: “Don’t cut his dick off, bruh,” he said. “He’s 12 years old. He’s not up there yet. He hasn’t made his final decisions yet. You fucking trippin’, dawg.” After Boosie explained to The Breakfast Club that he wasn’t going to apologize, Charlamagne advised him to “mind your business.”
He later explained during an IG Live session that he is not homophobic.
“I got gay people around me. I got nothing against no gay people,” Boosie said. “I got gay people that work for me. I got gay people in my family. All I said was don’t do that, man.”
But he had to keep it real when it comes to today’s parents, saying that adults are “giving the children the f*cking power.”
“We already can’t whoop em—we go to jail,” he added. “Everything they come with and say they wanna do we gonna let them do it? ‘Daddy, I want to make bombs.’ You gonna give them the fucking method? What’s parenting gonna be? In ten years the children gonna be the parents.”
Elsewhere in his interview with The Breakfast Club, Boosie dished about COVID-19 conspiracy theories.
“I ain’t tryin’ to let this shit stress me out,” he said. “This shit is controlled by the media,” said. “It’s like a flu, we need a vaccine.”
