*July 22 saw the birth of P-Funk architect George Clinton in 1941, and silky New Jack Swing slinger Keith Sweat in 1961.
The artists operated from different areas of the R&B spectrum in their heyday and couldn’t be farther apart creatively, but in the spirit of One Nation Under a Groove were saying happy 78th and 59th birthday with a Sweatadelic mashup mix featuring classics from both hit makers.
