The Paley Center for Media’s New Impact Program: Educate, Inform and Make an Impact: The Role of Media / WATCH

WHAT:          The Paley Center for Media’s Paley Impact series presents conversations about the media’s ability to educate and inform the public while also making an impact. Following the tragic murder of George Floyd, America and the world have shared in a cycle of unforgettable images, profound statements, and moments that could change the course of history. How do leaders communicate with citizens and raise awareness of important issues, while also understanding the need for the news media to ask probing questions? What lessons can public officials and activists learn about the power of media, and the importance of their message, from this experience? The Paley Center has convened important voices from the fields of politics and activism to explore these questions.
