Breakfast Club Fans Worried Charlamagne and Angela Yee are Leaving the Show

*Inquiring minds want to know if Charlamagne and Angela Yee are leaving The Breakfast Club after video shows them chopping it up with Joe Budden about their radio contracts and if they had renegotiated the terms of their on-air deal.

“Aw naw,” responded Charlamagne, with Yee also saying “No..”

But their co-host DJ Envy  confirmed he resigned his contract, as he has no plans to leave his lucrative gig anytime soon

“I got five kids, I’m long term” Envy explained, per TheGrio. “I’m loooong term.”

“It’s renegotiation time. I wanted the shortest contract possible,” Yee said, hinting that she’s keeping her options open. “You never know if something else happens, who wants to be stuck if that’s not… Who knows?”

“We’re always getting syndicated and more markets, over 100 now,” she added.

Budden’s State of the Culture co-host Remy Ma chimed in by stating that she and co-host Eboni K. Williams are willing fill any of the host seats, to which Charlamagne said, “Probably gonna happen.”

Meanwhile, here’s what radiofacts.com reports:

Sources informed us that Charlamagne’s contract was up in December and Angela Yee’s contract is coming up for renewal but she is not sure about committing long term or what the terms may be if she decides to commit.

iHeart pays a lot of money to certain hosts especially Ryan Seacrest who is based in Los Angeles. Are Charlamagne and Yee using the “Friends” approach? (Both holding out until demands are met for the whole team).

There is no question the show will not do well without the chemistry that is already present.
