According to TMZ, close family sources tell the gossip news site that the family of murdered rapper, Pop Smoke, will be transporting his body back to New York soon.
From there, his loved ones will be gathering this weekend for a private service. It was noted that the event is not his final memorial service or burial. That will be held at a later date.
Pop Smoke, a rising rapper, was shot and killed Wednesday morning at his Hollywood Hills home. Initially, it appeared to be a home invasion but surveillance video suggests his murder was a target hit and not a robbery gone wrong. As of now, police have not made any arrests related to the crime.
