*Vanessa Bryant, 37, obviously still grieving from the shocking death of her husband, Kobe Bryant, 41, and their daughter, Gianna Bryant, 13, is sharing her emotions with her millions of social media fans on Wednesday with an emotional tribute to the NBA Legend.
“#MyBestFriend #theBestDaddy Miss you so much. #handsome #sweet #funny #silly #lovinghusband Miss you saying, “Bourjourno principessa/reina’ [translated Good morning Princess/Queen.,” Vanessa Bryant, 37 captioned the Instagram post.
As the world sadly knows, the legendary NBA superstar died on Sunday, January 26, 2020 after his helicopter crashed on a hillside in Calabasas, California alongside Gianna and seven others: John Altobelli, 56, Keri Altobelli, 46, Alyssa Altobelli, 14, Payton Chester, 13, Sarah Chester, 45, Christina Mauser, 38, and pilot Ara Zobayan, 50.
They were flying from Orange County to the Mamba Sports Academy, which he founded, in Thousand Oaks, California. Kobe was on his way to coach “GiGi” in the Mamba Cup Tournament Series.
Meanwhile, Shareef O’Neal, the son of Shaquille O’Neal, who won 3 NBA titles with Kobe and the LA Lakers, also paid tribute to Bryant with two tattoos in his honor.
O’Neal, 20, who currently plays at the college level as a power forward, showed off the new ink on Tuesday.
He appeared to get several tattoos one the calf of one leg; the front part of his leg had “Mamba Mentality” tatted on it with a geometric symbol that may or may not be part of the tribute.
The back of his leg had Kobe jumping with a basketball, his jersey with ‘Mamba’ on it and both of his jersey numbers 8 and 24.
