*Rapper Future might wanna take some of his focus from Lori Harvey and put it on his children a little more. In particular, his son, Jakobi Wilburn.
Wilburn, 17, was busted on gang and weapons charges. He’s facing up to 20 years in prison, according to Rhymeswithsnitch.com.
The rapper’s son was arrested last month in Georgia during a gang task force crackdown and was charged with criminal gang activity, criminal trespass and altering the ID of a firearm after he was caught carrying a gun with a scratched off serial number.
Interestingly, young Wilburn is listed as “indigent” on his arrest paperwork, despite being the eldest son of million-selling rapper Future Hendrix, whose real name, Sandra Rose reminds us, is Nayvadius Wilburn.
Meanwhile, another bad boy making news is boxer Gervonta Davis, who got himself arrested and charged with assault after he was seen in full view by hundreds while roughing up his baby mama during a celebrity basketball game in Miami.
Davis was taken into custody on Tuesday by the Coral Gables, FL police dept. after a viral video showed the champion boxer snatching Andretta Smothers by her neck during an argument and dragging her out of a gym. Davis and Smothers were in South Florida to attend the Super Bowl.
“As a result of an ongoing investigation after being notified through social media and the victim, on February 1, 2020, (Davis) was observed battering his former girlfriend (with) whom have a child together,” Coral Gables police said in a statement to ESPN.
Before he got busted, the undefeated professional boxer addressed the incident during an Instagram story, saying he didn’t assault the woman – he simply “corrected her” when she talked back to him and showed out in public.
“I never once hit her, yeah, I was aggressive and told her come on.. that’s the mother of my child. I would never hurt her,” Davis said.
