*Tyler Perry is disputing rapper Juelz Santana’s claim that he was scheduled to film a “Love and Hip Hop” reunion TV show in Atlanta with the famed director.
As reported by The Blast, last year, Juelz was indicted on two federal firearms charges related to bringing a .38-caliber Derringer to Newark Liberty International airport back in March. He was released on $500,000 bond and ordered to wear an ankle monitor while on house arrest at his mother’s New Jersey home.

In December, the rapper entered a guilty plea and was sentenced to 27 months in prison. He was scheduled to turn himself in on January 30, but Juelz asked a judge to delay his surrender date so he could fly to Atlanta to film a reunion show with Tyler.
The judge agreed and his new surrender date is February 28, but Tyler wants it known he is not producing a reunion special with Juelz.
According to The Blast report, Juelz is heading to Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta, where the “Love & Hip Hop: New York” reunion show is scheduled to be taped, but that is the extent of his association with movie mogul.
Jeulz’s lawyer told the judge it was “crucial to his professional career” for her client to participate in the reunion show in mid-February.
Mr. Perry is apparently not happy that Juelz used his name to delay serving his prison sentence.
