*Cardi B’s vitriolic criticism of Donald Trump and conservative twit Tomi Lahren has earned her an invite by the Democrats to speak at “a reception of her choice” sometime in May when her Invasion of Privacy Tour hits Iowa.

“We are definitely serious about this,” said Polk County Democrats chair Sean Bagniewski. “She speaks to the new activism in the Democratic Party.”

The Polk County Democrats noted on Twitter that they have also extended an invitation to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Texas legislative candidate Beto O’Rourke to hold events in Des Moines.

“As the center of the IA Caucuses, we have been honored to host @TeamPelosi, @CecileRichards, @KamalaHarris, @SenGillibrand, @PramilaJayapal, @Grace4NY, and many powerful women leaders,” the organization tweeted Wednesday. “It only makes sense to invite @iamcardib to a reception of her choice while she’s here in May.”

Cardi has become an outspoken voice against the Republican agenda, calling out Trump over his petty government shutdown in a Instagram video that went viral last month.

“Hey ya’ll, I just wanted to remind you all because it’s been a little over three weeks,” Cardi B said in the clip. “Trump is now ordering, as in summoning, federal government workers to go back to work without getting paid.”

“Now, I know a lot of ya’ll don’t care because I don’t work for the government,” she continued. “But this s**t is really f*****g serious, bro.”

The “Money” rapper then threatened to “dog walk” Tomi Lahren and got into a heated debate on Twitter with conservative Stephanie Hamill.

On Thursday, Cardi hit up Twitter to reposnd to Iowa’s invitation, writing: “Should I?”

Following her response, many fans voiced their support.

“You are able to speak about politics & govt in a way that reaches those who are currently underrepresented & underserved by their govt,” one Twitter user responded. “If it gets more people involved and voting and caring its good. Go for it. You keep yourself well informed. Share your knowledge.”

“Absolutely. You know what it feels like to be born into poverty,” another added. “Which makes you better equipped to run the country than the man currently in charge.”

Do you think Cardi should accept the invite? If so, will she be a vulgar hot mess?
