According to property records, Williams purchased the sprawling estate in 2006 for $6.62 million under a trust, with her sister Lyndrea Price as the trustee, the report states.
Fred Bernstein of Westside Estate Agency said the buyer had been interested in the home for a while.
“They liked the property — it’s one of the largest lots on Stone Canyon,” he told Mansion Global.
Gregory Piechota and Amit Lalji of Keller Williams Beverly Hills represented Williams in the sale.
In related news, Serena says she was overcome with emotion while watching Tiger Woods’ triumphant return to golf after over a decade.
“I am literally in tears watching Tiger Woods,” she tweeted on Sunday. “This is greatness like no other. Knowing all you have been through physically to come back and do what you just did today? Congrats a million times! I am so inspired thank you buddy.”
Woods victory over the weekend came after a series of health issues and personal drama threatened to end his career, including a public divorce, a 2017 arrest, and numerous back surgeries.
