*Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry have FINALLY stepped out to give the world a glimpse of their new baby boy, who made his public debut on Wednesday outside St. George’s Hall in Windsor Castle (where they had their royal wedding reception!).
The Duke, 34, and Duchess of Sussex, 37, welcomed their child on Monday, May 6, – after having been more than a week overdue.
Asked what it’s like being a new mom, Meghan said: “It’s magic. It’s pretty amazing. I have the best two guys in the world, so I’m really happy.”

She went on to say that Baby Sussex “has the sweetest temperament. He’s really calm.”
Harry then added, “I don’t know where he gets that from!”
The loving couple have also revealed the name of their first child, Us Weekly reports.
“The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are pleased to announce they have named their first born child: Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor,” the couple announced on Instagram on Wednesday, May 8. “This afternoon Their Royal Highnesses introduced Her Majesty The Queen to her eighth great-grandchild at Windsor Castle. The Duke of Edinburgh and the duchess’ mother were also present for this special occasion.”
Following the baby’s birth, Harry gushed about being a new father to reporters, saying:
“It’s been the most amazing experience I could ever possibly imagine. How any woman does what they do is beyond comprehension. But we’re both absolutely thrilled and so grateful to all the love and support from everybody out there. It’s been amazing, so we just wanted to share this with everybody.”
“I haven’t been to many births, this is definitely my first birth,” he continued. “It was amazing, absolutely incredible. As I said, I’m so incredibly proud of my wife. As every father and parent would ever say, your baby is absolutely amazing, but this little thing is absolutely to die for, so I’m just over the moon.”
Doria Ragland, Meghan’s mother, was also present for the birth, which reportedly went down at the couple’s home, Frogmore Cottage, on the estate of Windsor Castle where they married in May last year.
The child will be entitled to joint British and American citizenship, according to several published reports. However, he will not automatically be a prince until such a title is bestowed by the queen via what is known as a letter patent, Reuters reports.
“He’s just been a dream,” Meghan said Wednesday . “It’s been a special couple of days.”
