*The 17-year-old daughter of actor Idris Elba has revealed that she’ll be attending New York University has a new student next year.
Isan Elba shared the exciting news on Instagram, writing: “Introducing Tisch School of the Arts’ new student! I am proud to say that I will be a Film and Television Production major at NYU! #classof2024.”
Elba previously made headlines when she was named the Golden Globe Ambassador of 2019.
“My heart stopped,” Isan said in reaction to the prestigious honor. “I was like, jumping and screaming and all over the house, like, ‘Are you sure? Are you sure they picked me?’ I was not even completely sure.”

Meanwhile, Kevin Durant and his manager and Thirty Five Ventures partner Rich Kleiman hosted a star-studded holiday bash Saturday at the Cabana at Catch Steak, Page Six reports.
Q-Tip and Mark Ronson served up to the tunes for guests that included DeAndre Jordan, Steve Stoute, Saquon Barkley and Sterling Shepard and Jay Williams, the report states.
It was Durant’s first holiday party since joining the New York Nets.
The NBA star recently told Steven Bertoni of Forbes that he wants to own his own team someday.
“I want to own and run an NBA team—run day-to-day operations and impact young players coming through the league,” he said.
