*Ice-T has put Amazon on notice about its delivery service.
On Tuesday, the rapper/actor hit up Twitter to explain that one of the company’s delivery drivers nearly caught a bullet Monday night.
The “Law & Order” star said he “almost shot” an Amazon courier who was delivering a package at his place because the driver wasn’t wearing a uniform.
“Message To Amazon: Now that you have regular people making your home deliveries … maybe they should wear a Vest with AMAZON DELIVERY on it. … I almost shot a MF creeping up to my crib last night…. Just sayin,” Ice-T said.
Amazon Flex hires independent contractors to deliver packages and pays between $18 and $25 per hour, according to its website.

In a separate post, a Twitter user asked if the delivery driver was wearing a uniform.
“No. They don’t wear ANY uniform. Just regular people workin,” Ice-T replied, noting that he isn’t “mad at them.”
“Just sayin. That s–t ain’t safe..,” he added.
Amazon’s vice president of operations, Dave Clark, issued a very unprofessional response to Ice’s complaint, writing: “Just sayin … thanks for the suggestion. We MF’ing love you and our drivers.”
“Lots of innovations coming on this and many that already exist to help you track your package and delivery on a map,” he added, referring to the company’s Map Tracking feature. “Thanks for being a customer.”

Peep some of the reactions to Dave’s reply… as you can see, folks were not feeling it:
.
Mr. Clark, I have fired customer service reps and managers throughout my years because they thought they were so cool and could communicate with the customer using the same speech patterns as the customer was using. Incredibly unprofessional reply from someone who I assume works at the headquarters…and you missed the point. Very concerning that #Amazon can’t have a simple form of identification for these delivery drivers, but they “love” them so much ??♀️ @JeffBezos @amazon @AmazonHelp
