Homeless Teen Tupac Mosley Receives Over $3M in College Scholarships [Video]

*A 17-year-old homeless high school student from Memphis has been named valedictorian in addition to receiving millions in college scholarship money.

Tupac Mosley was accepted into more than 40 colleges and earned more than 50 scholarships amounting to over $3 million, WHBQ reports. — and he accomplished all this while he was homeless.

Mosley graduated from Raleigh Egypt High School on Sunday with a 4.3 GPA. During his graduation speech, he thanked his teachers and principal for their support.

“Everything that you poured into me was worth $3 million and counting,” Mosley said of his supporters.

The teen and his family have been living at a cabin provided by the nonprofit organization For The Kingdom, NYDN reports.

“After my father passed, we fell behind on bills and we ended up getting evicted from our home on Feb. 21,” Mosley told WHBQ.. “So we went to different homes so far and we were blessed to have For The Kingdom.”

He now has plans to move into a permanent home.

“Never let your current situation, whatever circumstances you’re going through, be a mountain that you can’t climb,” Mosley told WHBQ.

Mosley plans to attend Tennessee State University in the fall where he will major in electrical engineering.
