*This week on “Growing Up Hip Hop: New York,” DJ Siaani opens up about her disastrous audition for famed DJ Kid Capri.
Last we checked in with her, Siaani — daughter of former rapper Charlie Baltimore — wasn’t too proud of how she handled her moment with Capri.
“He dead-ass stopped me in the middle of my set,” she explained to her mother in an episode a few weeks back.
Capri noted that Siaani needs to tighten it up because she was “all over the place” during her audition.

Charlie makes clear that she would not have allowed her daughter to meet with Capri until she was confident Siaani was thoroughly ready to impress.
Meanwhile, in our exclusive clip above, Siaani tells her manager Medina that her mother has never been to one of her DJing events — so she’s somewhat clueless about her skillset.
