Digital Retailer EVINE Live Launches Unique Products with Celebs

Michelle Williams *EVINE Live is a unique digital retailer offering exciting brands to customers around the country, and is emerging as direct competition for shopping channel giants, QVC and HSN (Home Shopping Network). EVINE’s live TV programming reaches over 87 million US homes via cable affiliates and satellite, and also streams live at evine.com, on select mobile devices and on Facebook, according to the website.

QVC has had widely successful product lines with celebrities such as the late Joan Rivers (The Joan Rivers Collection), actress/comedienne Sherri Shepherd (LuxHair NOW by Sherri Shepherd) and Rachael Ray (Rachael Ray Cookware), among others. The network is also at the center of the storyline in the Golden Globe-nominated film, “Joy,” where Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence plays a self-made millionaire who built an empire off of inventions sold on the network.

HSN has had great success with its deals with Wendy Williams (Wendy Williams Collection), NeNe Leakes (NeNe by NeNe Leakes) and Serena Williams (Serena Williams Signature Statement).

With celebrity lines proving to be quite lucrative for shopping networks, the rebranded Evine is cashing-in on A-list collaborations as well. Since it re-launched back in February 2015, the shopping channel has launched lines with Paula Dean, Suzanne Somers, and most recently a bedding line by former Destiny’s Child member Michelle Williams (Believe at Home by Michelle Williams). There’s also a clothing line with singer/actress Vanessa L. Williams (V By Vanessa Williams) and a clothing line by “Entertainment Tonight” anchor Nancy O’Dell (Nancy O’Dell Collection).
