*Stallone and Foxx star in the new film “47 Meters Down: Uncaged,” but don’t expect to see Sylvester or Jamie. It’s their daughters who have followed in their footsteps straight to the silver screen.
Sistine Stallone and Corinne Foxx make their film debut in the “47 Meters Down” sequel. Of course, our correspondent L.Marie had to ask the ladies if their dads came on set to give them any tips.
“Both of our dads didn’t come to set. But I think what they really wanted us to do was have our own thing,” says Foxx. If you watched the video with their castmates we asked them about the difficulties of filming underwater, but Foxx didn’t even make it underwater before things got rough for her. “I freaked out. I was doing the treading water… I’m not a good swimmer at all.”
Corinne Foxx and Sophie Nelisse play sisters in the film and Nelisse’s character is having a hard time adjusting to her new life. She lets her sister and her sister’s friends talk her into diving into a dangerous ancient Mayan cave. We asked the ladies if they have been in that predicament. You know when your friends peer pressure you into doing something you are skeptical about.
They all said they are pretty close to their characters. Stallone said, “I relate so much to my character because I am the one that will talk people into doing anything.”
But Nelisse was the opposite saying, “I’m totally the one that’s like guys we shouldn’t do that, that’s not safe.”
In the film, you will see how their characters contrast. Once they dive into that cave it doesn’t matter who led them there, it becomes all about survival.
