*Amanda Seales, the actress/comedian and culture policewoman has got non-other than Kim Kardashian West in her sights over a controversial photoshoot.
The photoshoot in question is one in which Kardashian-West is shown as being a few shades darker.
Seales is accusing Kim K of wearing “blackface” in the photoshoot for 7 Hollywood magazine. The pics caught the attention of Seales and a lot of folks on social media after they were released on Thursday.
Kim captioned the images: “WHAT A DREAM.”
Well, Seales was not impressed. She responded with “Are you f***ing kidding me?” in the caption of a repost of Kim’s photo.
In a video on Instagram.com, Amanda compared Kim’s pose to a similar pose by Beyonce Knowles-Carter, and she claimed Kim was emulating Diahann Carroll and Diana Ross.
“Honestly, what is there to say? What is there to say? Cause what folks will say is ‘But she has black children.’ Stop it. ‘But she’s Middle Eastern.’ Stop it. ‘But she’s helping black people get out of jail.’ Stop! Drop! Shut em down open up… Stop it! ‘But she’s channeling Elizabeth Taylor’ Stop it. Stop it. Stop it….”
She continued:
“You should care that someone is trying to take your rhythm but they don’t know your blues… This is basic. This family is notorious for appropriating Black culture. They do not have any grievance about it. They don’t give reverence. They don’t pay homage. No, they mimic; they take; they commodify…”
