*Lori Harvey has been in the news a lot lately because of her relationship with Sean “Diddy” Combs. However, this time she caught our attention because of a more serious issue.
Miss Harvey, the 22-year-old stepdaughter of Steve Harvey was arrested in Beverly Hills on Sunday (10-20-19) following a car accident in which her car was rolled. But wait, there’s more!
Harvey, according to an OK Magazine report, initially walked away from the scene. According to an eye witness, Harvey crashed her Mercedes SUV into another vehicle, flipping her car. The source claims that Harvey had been texting and driving. The driver of the other vehicle pulled her from her car, and she allegedly attempted to flee the scene. However, police arrived at the crash, and she began Face-Timing with her famous dad.
At that point, the report says, Harvey was arrested on two counts: misdemeanor hit and run and delaying a police investigation. Then, she was released at the scene.
“She was arrested for the two charges and released on scene, not booked. She identified herself properly and signed a written promise to appear in court,” the watch commander at Beverly Hills Police Department told OK! magazine. Authorities say they don’t think that Lori was under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time of the collision.

Another OK Magazine report also notes that hours before the accident, Lori appeared to be enjoying a night out with her friend Amaya Colon. According to Lori’s Instagram Story, the two women enjoyed a scenic trip to the pier and dinner at celeb hot spot Nobu.

Lori Harvey’s incident occurred days after she appeared to unfollow Combs on Instagram after the entertainment mogul, 49, was spotted with another woman. Lori and Diddy initially fueled romance rumors when they were seen taking a stroll together through New York City’s Soho neighborhood in July. They also vacationed in Italy with her mother, Marjorie and Steve Harvey this past August.
Lori was previously linked to Justin Combs, Diddy’s 25-year-old son with stylist Misa Hylton.
Steve married Lori’s mom, Marjorie Harvey, in June 2007. He is also stepfather to her son, Jason, and another daughter, Morgan. The TV personality has four biological children from his two previous marriages.
