*Earlier this month, Nicki Minaj broke the hearts of Barbz around the world when she announced her retirement from the rap game to focus on her personal life.
“I’ve decided to retire and have my family,” she wrote in a since-deleted tweet. “I know you guys are happy now. To my fans, keep reppin me, do it til da death of me, in the box—cuz ain’t nobody checkin me. Love you for LIFE.”
A day after her sudden announcement, Minaj responded to an outcry from one fan, tweeting, “I’m still right here. Still madly in love with you guys and you know that. In hindsight, this should’ve been a Queen Radio discussion and it will be. I promise u guys will be happy. No guests, just us talking about everything. The tweet was abrupt and insensitive, I apologize babe,” she said.
Well, on Thursday, Minaj proved her heart is still in it as she released a new track to promote her upcoming capsule collection with Fendi.

“My @fendi collection will be available on https://Fendi.com from Oct. 14th and in select boutiques from Oct. 16th,” she tweeted.
“It’s Fendi, it’s poppin’, and we on and poppin’, you bitches is blockin’ the view,” the Queens native raps on the track, per THR. . She also touches on her relationship with boyfriend Kenneth Petty: “I don’t even look sexy/ But he still tryna sex me/ Ain’t gotta get all done up for my dude/ My attitude is the baddest thing that’s on me, boo.”
The track is timed to the release of her Fendi collection, which drops Oct. 14 online and at select boutiques Oct. 16. The collection’s name, Fendi Prints On, references lyrics of her song “Chun-Li.”
Minaj has been sharing photos on social media of her Fendi designs, including a hot pink puffer jacket, pink logo bags, a graphic hoodie and logo sunglasses.
